When I picture it, Just the Ascendare stalking into the room to the tune of Homestuck's "Clockstopper", starting with Aden and Juan. As the song builds, more of the group, all with their hoods down, appear in the room. Just before the song bursts into full, the GTs draw their various weapons, and then... full on STRIFE!
Aden spars with Queen Fae, barely showing effort and complaining that he expected a challenge, then quipping "This is bad comedy."
Hmmmm. That sounds kind of interesting, actually. My base idea does involve some kind of fight with her at the end, though it is made difficult by a powerful artifact in her possession (which I haven't yet determined what it is).
I could see this as the finale to the storyline, in all honesty. So, here's my question: what reason(s) would the entire Ascendare (or maybe only some, since you haven't implied all would be involved) have to get involved?
Hmmmm . . . . That's . . . . interesting. An assault on their HQ. Okay, let's see . . . . how's this: one of the members went undercover to try to figure out their end goal (along with the one Regent and Tommy, though only the Regent is aware of the other two's true identities). Unfortunately, he/she was discovered and captured. They either divulged the true nature of the Ascendare or were brainwashed to do so. Because the Ascendare are very powerful, Queen Fey demanded their capture. The assault on their Headquarters began, and due to the surprise attack, several members (though not Juan and Aden) are captured. Following the attack, the Ascendare is ready to retaliate and free their captive members. The Regents decide that now is the time to act, and several agents (Megan included) and perhaps even one or two of the Regents along with the Ascendare storm the Sailor Moon Fans' HQ (or perhaps they are ready for their plan to begin and the battle is elsewhere).
In the end, the Ascendare capture Queen Fey, and the team recovers the artifacts (I'm thinking that by the time this happens, there are at least 50 artifacts being used, though all fifty wouldn't be mentioned obviously), while the rest of the group is apprehended and questioned by the Regents.
That could work! I think this would make a great story! There are one, maybe two story parts I have in mind before the finale, but when it's time, would you like to coauthor this? You know much more about the Ascendare than I do, after all.
Hey Per. I have a favor to ask of you. So, the next storyline involves Megan and Garrett, but I'm thinking that I want to begin setting up everything for the ending. When we finish writing the next part of the arc (I'd let you know when, of course), would you mind writing a chapter about the Ascendare's activities in relation to the events unfolding? I figure that at about the time this part of the arc is wrapping up, something happens that triggers their interest, which is why they send someone undercover to investigate. However, since the only people involved would be the Ascendare and I am unequipped to really delve into them, I thought you might write a small chapter about why they even began investigating in the first place. Would you be interested?
Well, you can look at it as a chance to explore a little bit into them, if you want. A GT hopeful makes some sense to me; after all, if the group isn't thought to be super dangerous, you wouldn't send the best person you have into it.
Alright. Seems simple enough. The Seer of Life gives him the assignment to go undercover of this group, gets captured and brainwashed, which leads to the subsequent assault on the Ascendare and the capture of the Seer of Life!
Well, she's in tune with her Aspect, Life. She may feel like something is off somewhere, where the Sailor moon peeps are. She can't go herself because Seers don't normally have accessible aspect powers.
Do you mean the side chapter? Well . . . . I was thinking of one of two places, dependent on what kind of timeline you're looking at. Either at the end of the story just written, or at the end of my story with Garr.
Well, the story with Garr will take place around end of September to early October. I'm thinking after that, the next story (which I'll do with Draco, if he's willing) will take place around mid-January, and then the finale around two months later. So it would be a matter of either six months or three months of undercover time.
Actually, when I think of it like that, six months seems like a reasonable time. So I guess the story I just wrote.
I made a page for Eva on the main wiki. I doubt I'll make a page for Josiah, since he's doubtful to be used outside of this arc. Although shouldn't there be a "God Tier" category? I don't think there's any other category for her otherwise, since she's not a Warehouse Agent.
Oh, that's cool! Feel free to expand on her abilities. I have a few other things I need to get done tonight and tomorrow, and with my birthday on Saturday, I probably won't get back here for a few days. I'll expand her life history when I get back, so if there's anything you think I should add to make her more interesting, feel free to add or mention it. I'll be here for a bit more tonight, but it won't be nearly enough time to create her history.
I had the title ready when I sent Garr the document, but I couldn't access it when I was typing this out at first and couldn't recall the exact name, so I used a substitute name until I could access it.
